Real evidence that Modig Machine Tool has succeeded in putting its business concept into practice came in June 1997.

In 1994, the aircraft manufacturer, Boeing placed its first order with Modig. Since then, orders have been coming on a regular basis. At the end of the first half of 1997, the large-scale, multi-national Boeing chose Modig Machine Tool AB as its supplier of the year, and on June 18, 1997 Modig Machine Tool AB received Boeing´s ”Outstanding performance award”.
